CHRISMALDI VASQUEZ-CASADO

Chrismaldi Vasquez-Casado has over 20 years of experience in leadership roles in the social sector, from grassroots nonprofits to large corporate organizations. Chrismaldi has a successful track record in building high-performing teams, managing and leading organizations, and designing cross-sector collaborative solutions to advance equity and social justice. She is a skilled facilitator and consensus builder; creatively designing solutions to challenges and instituting collaborative practices.

 

Chrismaldi currently manages the Community Relations team for the Public Plans Division at Tufts Health Plan. In this role, she is responsible for establishing strategic partnerships with local stakeholders to support the mission of improving the health of Tufts’ Health Plan diverse membership. Prior to that, Chrismaldi was the Executive Director of Family Independence Initiative Greater Boston, a nonprofit organization changing the narrative about low-income people by trusting and investing in families.  She has experience designing and teaching nonprofit management courses for emerging leaders, providing grantmaking and technical support to organizations, and has earned a national reputation for her leadership in several grassroots community-organizing campaigns.  

 

Chrismaldi has a B.S. in Economics and Finance with a minor in International Studies and a Masters in Business Administration from Bentley University. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
